Course Description

This course covers the technique and routine for carrying out a Hot Stone Massage. Within this course you will cover the following; Reception, Consultation and Aftercare guidance, as well as Preparing for Treatment, Massage Techniques, Routine, Contra-indications and Contra-actions to treatment. Finally we will discuss Adaptations to the treatment & Aftercare advice. Photographs and diagrams ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform this very popular treatment. Please note you will need to provide a model for your practical session.

Qualification

GTI Award in Hot Stone Massage Treatments, this is industry recognised and fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. This will allow you to gain insurance and practice as a fully qualified Hot Stone Massage Therapist.

Pre-requisites

You must have completed a Full Body Massage course prior to this course. You are also required to complete the GTI Professional Standards course online, prior to any practical course with the Guild. This course comes complementary when purchasing a practical subject.
